Connect-A-Dock Presented European Design Award
Connect-A-Dock, a subsidiary of Schafer Systems, Inc., was awarded a special mention design award at the Marine Equipment Trade Show, METS, held in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
METS is the premier European exhibition of equipment, materials and services for the leisure craft industry. The Design Award METS, DAME, Special Mention was presented to Connect-A-Dock for its modular, floating dock systems.
Connect-A-Dock products are made of color-molded polyethylene plastic that resists sunrays, saltwater, boat damage and can withstand up to 2,500 lbs. per section. The dock’s design is completely modular, offering a wide variety of configurations. With two size options available, owners of homes, marinas and water front resorts are sure to find a dock system to accommodate their needs.
According to METS, the DAME was started to encourage improvement in the design of marine equipment, components and accessories by manufacturers. This year’s METS was attended by more than 12,000 people from 85 countries.
