
Adair, Iowa, January 9, 2004 - Schafer Systems Inc. (SSI) has reorganized its corporate structure effective November 1, 2003 to better reflect its business operations and to provide a platform for its continued growth. The former SSI holding company structure will now be known as Owner Revolution Inc.
SSI has continued to broaden and diversify its business operations since its inception in 1986. The purpose of the new corporate structure is to segregate distinct business operations into separate corporate entities, all under a single umbrella organization. In the reorganization, SSI will change its name to Owner Revolution Inc. to become the new umbrella organization. Owner Revolution Inc. will, in turn, create four new wholly-owned subsidiaries to reflect its unique businesses. The four subsidiaries are Schafer Systems Inc. ®, Connect-A-Dock Inc. ®, Plastic Professionalstm Rotational Molding, and Plastic Professionalstm Mold Building.
Schafer Systems Inc. is the world leader in point of purchase and promotional products for the lottery industry. SSI dispensers, Play Centers and related products are the industry standard with customers including all 40 U.S. lotteries, 46 countries and 10 territories. SSI is located in Adair, Iowa.
Connect-A-Dock Inc. is a plastic marine products sales and marketing organization. Its current marine product line includes the 1000 and 2000 Series Connect-A-Dock plastic floating dock system. Connect-A-Dock floating docks are winning international acclaim for ease of installation in residential and commercial applications. Connect-A-Dock is located in Adair, Iowa.
The Plastic Professionals Rotational Molding subsidiary provides manufacturers with a wide range of services from design and engineering to manufacturing of rotationally molded plastic products. The Plastic Professionals can exceed customer’s varied needs from high production volumes to short run high tolerance cosmetic parts. The Plastic Professionals manufactures all of the rotationally molded plastic products for the Connect-A-Dock product line.
To accommodate its growth, The Plastic Professionals is relocating its operations from Adair, Iowa to a new 220,000 square foot facility located in Atlantic, Iowa. This facility was formerly owned by Skyjack Equipment.
The Plastic Professionals Mold Building is a new operation that will also be housed in the new Atlantic facility. This group will design and build rotational molds to support the growth of The Plastic Professionals Rotational Molding business. In addition, this group will design and build molds for customers nationwide.
