Connect-A-Dock Announces Innovative New Products for 2005 Season
Connect-A-Dock® Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of two innovative products to its ever-growing marine product line; an innovative self-wicking planter and a stylish bench. The planter will be available as an option for both the 1000 and 2000 dock series; the bench will be available for the 2000 series dock system.
“Developed using extensive customer feedback, we are pleased to offer products that allow waterfront property owners to enhance the enjoyment of their dock and their overall waterfront experience.,” according to Dave Youland, Vice President, Marketing of Connect-A-Dock, Inc. “These new products are truly unique, feature great styling and are designed to fit into our complete marine system quickly and easily”, added Youland.
The patent-pending self-wicking planter is designed to fit into standard Connect-A-Dock pole connectors. The easy-to-assemble planter is offered in an attractive marbled gray color to provide an aesthetically pleasing contrast to the standard pearl gray dock color. The most innovative feature of the self-wicking planter is its use of an integrated wick to draw water from a lake or river directly to the planter soil. This unique technology greatly reduces the need for watering. The pole connector offers the benefit of planter stability and allows plants and flowers to be visible yet conveniently off of the dock surface.
The comfortable bench is designed to fit with the 2000 series dock. The one-piece bench is easy-to-install and can accommodate two people. It is available in the standard pearl gray dock color and with or without attachable arms. The arms each feature an integrated cup holder. As is to be expected from Connect-A-Dock, quality design and craftsmanship assure years of trouble-free use.
