Connect-a-dock announces new dock products for 2011 season
Connect-A-Dock® Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of three innovative products to its ever-growing marine product line; a 6’x10’ dock section and bumper for its 2000 Series and aluminum gangways for both the 1000 and 2000 dock series.
“Developed using extensive customer feedback, we are pleased to offer products that allow waterfront property owners to enhance the enjoyment of their dock and their overall waterfront experience.,” according to John Krogman, Director of Sales & Marketing of Connect-A-Dock, Inc. “These new products are truly unique, feature great styling and are designed to fit into our complete marine system quickly and easily”, added Krogman.
The new 6’x10’ FS2120 dock section is perfect for both commercial and residential dock applications. Its increased width allows for greater stability for deeper water applications and is a cost effective way to provide increased accessibility to the water for both public and private installations. The FS2120 is designed to fit with all other dock sections and accessories in the 2000 Series product line. “The new dock section has already created quite a buzz within our sales network and looks to be a great addition to our already strong 2000 Series product line”, said Krogman.
The new 2000 Series bumper is designed to protect the boat gunwales and rub-rails and your dock from the sharp edges of pontoon boats. The one-piece, blow molded bumper is easy-to-install and comes with standard hardware to connect to the dock system. It conveniently slip fits into any of the float section sockets for convenient installation. According to Krogman, the new bumper will be available through all Connect-A-Dock dealers and on the Connect-A-Dock website.
In addition to these two new products, Connect-A-Dock is introducing a line of aluminum gangways. The gangways are available in standard 3’ & 4’ widths and 8’, 12’ & 16’ lengths. The units have welded construction, side curbs, rails and a slip resistant walkway. Units include hinges and hardware to attach to both the 1000 & 2000 Series dock lines and are designed to accommodate available roller kits. Additional custom sizes are available by contacting Connect-A-Dock. “In the past, aluminum gangways were offered on a special-order basis. We are pleased to provide a standard line of aluminum gangways to our customers. The durable units are perfect for both private and commercial use”, Krogman stated.
