Connect-A-Dock celebrates 10+ years as USRowing sponsor

PRINCETON, N.J. – USRowing is pleased to announce that Connect-A-Dock, a leading global rowing dock manufacturer, has renewed as a Silver Medal Event Sponsor for 2015. Connect-A-Dock provides docking systems to major regattas including Head of the Charles and Head of the Chattahoochee, in addition to USRowing events.

As part of the sponsorship, Connect-A-Dock will have a presence at five USRowing events including USRowing Masters National Championships, USRowing Club National Championships, USRowing Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Masters Regionals Championships, USRowing Southeast Regional Championships and the USRowing Annual Convention. An important element of the partnership is Connect-A-Dock’s commitment to USRowing membership, providing special offers to members.

“Connect-A-Dock has supported USRowing for more than 10 years and brings a strong commitment to our organization and members,” said Beth Kohl, chief marketing officer of USRowing. “Connect-A-Dock is helping fuel our growth, enabling us to offer programs which change lives through rowing. Their support allows us to provide a stronger experience for rowers, coaches and fans at our events and provides a benefit for our members. We are grateful for their ongoing support.”

“USRowing has been a terrific partner for us over the years and enhances our marketing efforts in the rowing community,” said John Krogman, director of sales and marketing of Connect-A-Dock “We have worked with numerous clubs, schools and organizations around the world to promote rowing and our products. Our easy-to-install docks are the preferred solution for rowing clubs worldwide.

“We are excited about being a Silver Medal Event Sponsor this year and helping promote the sport and generate greater awareness. This spring, Connect-A-Dock will be introducing a new, blow molded Finishing Connector for its docks. The new Finishing Connector is an inexpensive way to fill the open cavities on the sides of the rowing docks. It will help prevent breakage of their bow balls and keep debris out of the connector cavities.”

In addition to its event support, Connect-A-Dock will offer benefits to USRowing members. Discounts will be available through the USRowing online member portal for all Connect-A-Dock products including docking systems and a wide range of accessories. To become a USRowing member.
